Installation Error

Hi,

I tried to install the Moxiecart and i got the below error, Then i went to /assets/snippets/moxiecart/classes/install.php and copy the Create SQL statements and Insert statements and execute the Query via phpmyadmin. But i'm not able to find the manager pages like Add new Category, Add New products etc.

PS: I created a new Resource and add the text [[MoxieCart]] on it and exeucte the page. It says "No products found" but not able to find a page where to add a new product... Please some one direct me where it went wrong??

Hi,
Are you using the version on MODx or from Github? The one on MODx hasn't been updated in quite some time... though the one on Github hasn't been updated much lately, either. Development has stalled for the time being, but I will try to install it from scratch myself and see if I can get an update out soon.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.. I used Modx version from this url (http://modxcms.com/extras/package/601). As this is my First Development in Modx, i found little bit difficult on configure this Moxicart to Modx. The Installation guide in this website (http://aigee.org/moxiecart/installation.html) which is not much in Detail. Seems it may help to the guys who are all already expertise in Moxicart installation.

After several Attempt, finally i configure this one to my Staging development. Could you please refer the error_screen.gif image. When i tried to upload a image for adding a new product, It throws an Error. Adding a new category is also not working (when i click the Save link, Refer add_category_error.jpg the link is not working)

Do you know the reason?

Do you have any detailed link / Page for installation guide for Moxiecart? Please provide some details. I planned to remove the current one and try to install a Fresh moxiecart to my development..

Hi John,

I just visited the Website Github.com for the version which you uploaded for Moxie cart.. and i clicked the link on that page which leads me to this url http://github.com/johnnysheeley/MoxieCart/commit/e7d6f463b0e1117955... where you added new lines /Remove the +ajaxpage+ ids in the Template code..

Shall i modify my template pages as per your instructions? Sorry, i prefer to install the Moxiecart to my website.

I would go into the db and delete the moxiecart tables, then try using this file and installing again.
